            Delegate Lane moves to amend the committee substitute of bill HB2549 on page 3, Subsection (e) to read as follows:

§7-5-16

            (e) By October 15 of every fiscal year, each county commission shall publish one of the following the financial statement as a Class I-0 legal advertisement in compliance with the provisions of article three, chapter fifty-nine of this code, and the publication area for such publication shall be the county: (1) the financial statement or (2) a notice that the financial statement required by this section is available to the public, free of charge, at the county’s primary office and on a website maintained by the county and the notice shall contain the office address and the website address where the financial statement is available., and may publish the financial statement on a website maintained by the county.
